Talk of the town for many—and for some, a focus more appropriately left outside the context of sartorial ease—Rick Owens‘ Autumn/Winter 2015 collection continues a stone cold familar dance between shock value and subtle elegance. Fully embracing the darkness—the lightest moments of the show were cornered to burlap colored knitwear and details of shimmering fringe—the garments fall leaner and longer than ever before, turning the irony of couch-facing onesies to cloaked formalwear of a dissonant and disintegrating future.
