TENNIS INSPIRED STYLE: THE FIRST BOAST RUNWAY SHOW EVER

TENNIS INSPIRED STYLE: THE FIRST BOAST RUNWAY SHOW EVER

There are two sides to Tennis. On the one hand, it’s quite proper. Best not shout or suffer the “shhhhh”. On the other hand, its full of attitude. Witness Serena Williams flaunt her win at the Olympics in London. Since the 70’s BOAST has been a tennis inspired brand that’s landed somewhere on the edge of both sides of the sport’s personality. Afterall, the brand’s symbol—a simple japanese maple leaf is oddly reminiscent of that marijuana kind. Which brings us to their first ever fashion show, which was recently held at the Project Trade Show in Las Vegas on the occasion of their 40th anniversary. For  this, their Spring 2013 collection, they’ve upped the ante with an assortment of mens and womens classic cut polos, blazers, ties, shirts and shorts infused with a certain neon tinged, bad-assed college boy/girl style. Back to School from Spring Break? BOAST Spring 2013 will be perfect.
