Christofle Collaborates With Pharrell Williams and Chef Jean Imbert

It only takes an international musician, a luxury silversmith house, and a master chef to create the ultimate flatware set. Christofle invited Pharell Williams, who in turn invited his friend Chef Jean Imbert, to create the second iteration of its MOOD dining piece set, encased in a large egg.

The first edition was made in collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld and released last winter. While the inaugural piece was made in signature black and white, this time Williams and Imbert took a whimsical approach to the piece. The duo chose a dazzling yellow for the facade of the egg, which they additionally embellished with illustrations inspired by their friends and family (including Imbert’s grandma who is the inspiration behind his cooking and newest restaurant, Mamie, in Paris). Each piece of cutlery has an engraved “Share” emblem on the handle, written by Pharrell Williams, as this is the value that the team wants to convey.

MOOD Christofle x Pharrell Williams & Jean 24-piece silver-plated set comes in 500 limited edition pieces and is available online now.
