A.P.C’s Short Film for Winter 2015

French ready-to-wear brand A.P.C. has teamed up with the American artist and photographer Collier Schorr to shoot a short movie to introduce its Winter 2015 collection. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Schorr is best known for her portraits of adolescent men and women, and has previously worked with Brioni, Bottega Veneta, and Comme des Garçons. The short is shot in black and white, and portrays the protagonist, French model Adrien Sahores, in a scarcely furnished room awaiting a phone call, honoring the brand founder’s aspiration for clean lines and simple patterns. By shifting the camera from the model to the old-fashioned phone, Schorr creates strong sense of anticipation and eagerness.
