POSSIBLE FREE STUFF: ASSOULINE + GANT

That men should sport Ivy League style well after their university days are done is telling of the style’s hold on our sartorial fascination. Brands from Ralph Lauren to GANT have made entire businesses inspired by the looks coming from the most privileged and well-connected students in the country. This May, Assouline is releasing a new 192-page tome on the subject, by acclaimed journalist David Cappello, full of excellent archival imagery to keep your own Ivy League inspirations fresh and inspirationally referential. Speaking of—GANT Rugger is taking part in the launch festivities. They’ve already dedicated some store windows to the book and will host two in-store book signing events in New York City (May 3rd at the Nolita GANT Rugger store) and New Haven, Connecticut (On June 2nd at the GANT Store on Yale’s campus). The $65 book is on pre-sale now—not a bad price, but perhaps costly for a student. If that’s you, be sure to fan GANT on facebook and send in a statement about your personal style, you could be selected to win a free signed copy and a year supply of GANT Yale Co-Op shirts.
