The latest offering from international fashion monolith Karl Lagerfeld had a soft preview during Pitti Uomo in Florence. Dubbed KARL LAGERFELD Curated by Sebastien Jondeau, the new collection is inspired by Jondeau, Lagerfeld’s personal assistant of 20 years.

“For over 20 years I have worked closely with Karl, and I am very excited about his idea that I curate a menswear collection,” Jondeau said in a statement. “We looked at how I dress every day, and designed mix-and-match pieces that could work for any occasion: casual, sporty, relaxed or formal in a three-piece suit. These are clothes that I love!”

The clothes – in all their Karl-approved glory – are timeless. A dark color palette gives the collection versatility and sophistication while the structure of the garments are universal. Certain garments are embellished with patches bearing SJ and 1975 (Jondeau’s birth year) to further personalize the pieces.  The clothes will be available in August but until then, take a look at some preview images below.
