With a finger pressing against a heightened political pulse, Vivienne Westwood does not shy away from controversy for Autumn/Winter 2017. Walking both men’s and women’s looks, the collection tells the story of two people, similar in background, who attempt to reconfigure societal views on sustainability and the economy, aiming to put power in the right hands. The clothes represent an embroiled passion to resurrect change in a time of conglomerates and monopolies, one punk look at a time. The daring collection marks Westwood’s celebrated return to London Fashion Week Men’s from Milan, reclaiming the brand’s homegrown locale.
