Chloë Cares And So Should You!

A men’s fashion show will take place in New York City on Monday, March 26th. Chloë Sevigny, who is the honorary chair of the event will be in attendance, looks from some of the world’s most renown menswear designers will share the runway, and the location is aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on NYC’s Hudson River. It’s the 9th annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares event and even with all of its pomp and grandeur, what makes it stand out is what lies beneath the surface. The event, begun by Jeffrey Kalinsky (who you may know as the founder of fab boutique Jeffrey), brings together fashion’s most fabulous for a dazzling evening of cocktails, silent and live auctions, and haute couture on the runway. The purpose? To raise funds for four LGBT organizations working on legal, educational, health, and youth issues in the LGBT community: Lambda Legal; The Hetrick-Martin Institute; the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America(ACRIA); and The Point Foundation. To attend, its a $250 donation—no small fare—but still cheaper than just about anything in Mr. Kalinsy’s namesake boutique. Besides, sometimes you’ve gotta spend some money putting an uplifting outfit on your heart in addition to your body. Just ask Chloë!
