A Look at Hajime Sorayama’s Space Statues for Dior
Following its momentous Pre-Fall 2019 show in Tokyo last November, Dior is launching a series of pop-up shops that echo the futuristic theme of the collection. At the center of this initiative is the instantly recognizable robot sculpture made by Hajime Sorayama, which will be recreated in smaller formats for temporary spaces across the U.S., including DC and Costa Mesa. Each location will be designed in a modular format that follows the space-age tone of the collection and celebrates the historic legacy and prosperous future of the house.
