Actress Lea Michele might play good girl Rachel Berry on the once a hit, now a ‘is-that-still-on?’ series Glee, but the real life Michele is certainly not. And to prove it, she called up longtime purveyor of bad girls, Terry Richardson, and arranged a V Magazine photoshoot (disclosure: that’s not at all what happened).
From the looks of the three behind-the-scenes images shared by Michele on Instagram, she’s got hip bones on the mind…a bit tame for Richardson standards But, appropriately in-line with Michele’s image, perhaps that was the point? She’s edgy… not over the edge. You decide by checking out her feature “Lea The Brave” in V88: The Music Issue. Either way, we still have the lead single “Cannonball“ (off her upcoming debut album due Friday) on heavy rotation.
In memoriams have had a history of ruffling feathers in years past for either the omission of a certain person’s name (re: Farrah Fawcett, Etta James, Andy Griffith), or just being incredibly morose (see: the 2013 Emmy Awards). However, it is hard to remember the last time a late star’s name was blatantly misspelled. Unless of course you watched last night’s 56th annual Grammy Awards, which paid tribute to the late actor Cory Monteith, famous for his role on Glee. A kind gesture, muddied by the misspelling of his surname to read “Montieth” on the screen. Twitter was outraged; most of the public didn’t notice; nobody was thrilled.

To the left, to the left, Stefani Germanotta! Large fashion house campaigns are legendary for grabbing expertly-sculpted profiles/torsos to define the brand’s current and ever-evolving aesthetic, but few faces of fashion have as much buzz as the now-confirmed heartthrob Nolan Gerard Funk, who headlines Versace’s SS ’14 campaign. The Canadian-born actor/singer/dancer had a brief stint on Broadway, headlining a John Stamos/Gina Gershon Broadway revival of Bye, Bye, Birdie before roles on Fox’s Glee and MTV’s sleeper hit Awkward.
We’d be remiss not to mention his group sex scene in Paul Schrader’s ill-received The Canyons (“I don’t have an issue with sex scenes at all. There’ll be much more graphic scenes in my career, I’m sure. If anything, both Lindsay and I felt very strongly the love scene between us needed to be a lot longer,” he famously told Broadway.com back in August). But now he can add perhaps his most substantial credit to his ever-evolving CV, a campaign shot by fashion photography duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. The first images can be seen here, with more to rollout soon.
Kate Hudson… You remember her. Goldie Hawn’s daughter. Almost Famous. Golden Globe winner. Married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Then — perhaps — you forgot her. Divorce. Fool’s Gold.Bride Wars. Nine. Glee. But now she’s back, and it’s not a film or a spin-off series for her Glee character, New York Academy of Dramatic Arts dance instructor Cassandra July. Instead, it’s Kate Hudson’s Halloween Party 2013. And it sure is.
Keeping it Glee for a second, check out Naya Rivera’s slutty Carmen Sandiego. Where In The World are her pants?
Fergie. Josh Duhamel. Not worth a caption.
Reductive.
That face.
Jessica Alba of Eastwick? Yes!
As for the lady of the night?
The Unexpected Queen of Halloween. (Is that Lil’ Kim next to her?)
