Choosing to refocus its marketing imagery towards a more character approach—a departure from the landscapes of campaign’s past—MYKITA re-teams with photographer Mark Borthwick for a series of prints to highlight the latest eyewear release from the brand. Drawing inspiration from the rough and tumble jungle of Los Angeles, the All The Wild Things campaign embraces a model-less vintage, choosing to shoot friends and family of both MYKITA and Borthwick against a backdrop awash with a pale desire. What the brand defines as ‘unaffected’ proves itself to be the formulaic narrative that drives an eyewear line of strong purpose, one that follows on the heels of its flashier optical cousin developed alongside Ambush just months ago.
