Krochet Kids Fall 2012 Is Sewn with Gratitude

You’ll remember Krochet Kids from our story about brands that give back—the three guys who founded the company travel to places like Africa and South America and teach women (and maybe some men) the art of Krochet. A nice way to get to know the locals, yes, but they also leave the people they train with a skill that they can use to find work. Especially for Krochet Kids, who more than just sell the goods made by these people, but also imbus their story into each and every product (they mark each product with the story of the person who made it).  Anyway, we wanted to share with you their Fall 2012 #Choices program/program/social media thing which lives virally on the brand’s already active social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter and their blog with exclusive original produced videos and new product launches. Basically—go get one of their cool knit caps and then take your civic action one step further by joining in on a conversation about how to make the world a better place. Every week they ask a new question about how you can use your purchasing dollar to make the world a little bit better for those who probably who can only dream of buying something online.
