American Horror Story: 1984, the ninth season of Ryan Murphy’s hit FX series inspired by ’80s slasher films, is coming. While few details of the show have been revealed, the network has been strategically releasing teasers to generate buzz for the series — all feature a masked killer preying upon teenagers at what looks to be a sleepaway camp, which is as solid a premise as it’s ever been. With an all-star cast that includes series regulars Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, and Billie Lourd with new faces like Gus Kenworthy, it looks to be a promising return to form for the series that can sometimes get lost in its own ambition.
