Vera Largo Debuts Coastal-Inspired Collection

VERA LARGO SPRING SUMMER 2015 MEN'S COLLECTION NEW YORK 07/21/14

New menswear line Vera Largo just released its Spring/Summer 2015 offering, the first official collection for the brand. Launched earlier this summer, the label draws inspiration from the four founders’ upbringing on the Texas Gulf Coast, and aims to create fun yet functional garments for active customers. Along with glimpses of early Nautica and late Tommy Hilfiger, elements from the designers’ coastal narrative are prevalent throughout the collection, which features bold, Hawaiian-esque graphics, relaxed fits, and a blue-dominated color palette. The pieces have a preppy-yet-playful vibe and a tongue-in-cheek nod to SoCal beach style. The brand’s name literally translates to slow and true, and this debut certainly embodies those principles with its colorful nonchalance and department-store appeal.
