Three Man Band Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy Dance to ‘Blurred Lines’

When it comes to speaking with celebrities, the interviewer’s job is pretty finite: get the interviewee(s) to say something memorable. An even bigger coup: get them to do something memorable. Past examples include Madonna refusing to leave the stage on The Late Show in 1994, Drew Barrymore flashing Dave in 1995, and Tom Cruise jumping all over Oprah’s couches in 2005—the list could go on for infinity.

The latest addition to the pantheon comes in the form of Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy, when the trio stopped by The Graham Norton Show to promote their upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past. Norton, always the instigator, was tipped off of Fassbender’s need to be coaxed out of his trailer (“he’s very difficult; very ornery on set,” said Jackman, completely fictitiously). Jackman’s solution to the problem? Getting the sound guy on set to play Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines very loud “just so he [Fassie] could get his mojo up.”

Like most things any of these actors do, it’s best experienced versus retold, and thus:
