Givenchy has cast models Adut Akech and Henry Kitcher in its latest campaign for Fall/Winter 2019. Shot in the French designer’s signature two-panel portrait style, one in black & white and the other in color, the simple backdrop puts the glitzy collection front and center. Inspired by ’70s, the latest range from the label is a retro-romantic ode to the rock and roll hedonism of the decade. Men’s suits are fitted and flared, while floral tops and other abstract prints echo a countercultural sentiment. In the accompanying video, we see the models explore different passageways that lead them to various settings, from a lush tropical scene to minimal hygge home interior, before picking and biting into a forbidden apple.

Kendall Jenner and viral dance sensation Lil Buck star in the newest Stuart Weitzman campaign. The second part of a series of videos, the playful clip follows the supermodel and the dancer while they play tug-of-war and dance around, flaunting the newest boots from the New York-based designer in all their glory. The campaign also showcases the label’s first-ever men’s style, the MCKENZEE MEN’S, which retains the designers premium craftsmanship and timelessness of its women’s pieces. The new leather boot is available in three colorways (black, blue, and green) and is available via waitlist online now.

For its latest eyewear release, Versace cast actor Luke Evans as the face of its new campaign. The summer capsule includes two sunglass styles and one optical model, each inspired by various Greek motifs including a key pattern and the designer’s signature Medusa-head icon. The Grecamania Pilot pair interprets the classic aviator style in gold with sleek opulence and the Grecamania Visor option offers a cleaner and flatter fit. Meanwhile, the optical style balances its gold metallic structure with reinforced black wireframes for a simple yet suave look — Evans, in all his Welsh nonchalance, looks the perfect vessel to showcase the convenience and versatility of each frame. It might just be his best role yet.

In Coach‘s latest campaign starring global ambassador Michael B. Jordan, the actor gets inspirational as he represents a new direction for the historic designer. Shot at various sites around the label’s native New York City (Juergen Teller photographed the images), the accompanying Todd Tourso-directed videos feature poetic narrations by Jordan and Yara Shahidi as they wax poetic about the infinite possibilities available in the city. Tourso has previous experience directing Beyonce videos, so if there’s anyone that can help usher in a new era flawlessly, it’s probably him.

For the label’s 20th anniversary, Philipp Plein staged a cinematic post-apocalyptic show in Milan for its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Embodying a blockbuster rock star mentality, the presentation was an attack on the senses with elaborate stage techniques including monster trucks and fireworks that highlighted the appeal of the pieces.
A bulk of the looks featured iconic band logos (some models even had KISS facepaint on) bringing classic rock iconography together with a modern new wave aesthetic. The men’s looks featured studded biker jackets, re-imagined versions of a classic suit, classic punk hoodies, and high top sneakers. The designer’s own logo was prevalently featured, printed on many of the garments along with flame designs and metallic animal prints. Chains, spiked hardware, and other metallic embellishments further drove the theme home.

The latest Fendi video campaign for its Fall/Winter 2019 collection experiments with quick cuts, sharply blending futurism with the classic. This theme was emphasized in the collection as a whole since creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi collaborated with the late Karl Lagerfeld on a selection of pieces to honor their lifelong creative relationship.
The garments are focused around classic muted tones such as black, beige and brown; yet add accents of red and electric blue. Keeping with the classic and futuristic motif, the Fendi logo for this collection has been updated to the ‘Karligraphy’ FF logo. Shot in Rome by Giulio Tami, under the direction of Fendi as well as the artistic direction of Nico Vascellari, the accompanying campaign video is a composition of dynamic shapes and formats new ways to show off the pieces and honor the Italian brand’s history. In the latest Alexander Wang #WANGSQUAD video campaign, a star-studded cast – Kylie Jenner, A$AP Ferg, Vince Staples, Zoe Kravitz, and ESSENTIAL HOMME October/November 2015 cover star Tinashe – run amuck in an opulent mansion, throwing a decadent party where a carefree, youthful energy pulsates against the thumping bass. Each squad-member is decked out in the brand’s new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, a colorful and graphic range made from a slew of materials including mohair, angora, and lambskin. Skrillex, who appears in the video wearing a black collage artwork sweatshirt featuring street art prints, mixes beats as Metro Boomin, donning a camel-colored shearling jacket, eats noodles delivered by Wang himself. Tyga, wearing a pink collage t-shirt and gold chains, swigs champagne in a bathtub, while Jenner dances before him in a camisole knit dress. The urban-inspired and graphic collection is a new direction for Wang, who is known for sleek, oversized, and grayscale designs. The brand launched the #WANGSQUAD campaign this past spring, which featured similar clips of artists and models partying in New York City clubs, bodegas, and subway stations. Wang, once again, brings the squad and the party to the evolving fashion season.
