Gen Z’s Favorite Online Shop is Taking Over Texas

Since its launch in 2011, Depop has established itself as the go-to online marketplace for trendy teens. And after opening two permanent spots in Los Angeles and New York (its two largest markets in the US), the UK-based resale app set its eyes on Texas for its newest campaign.

Depop has invaded Austin, Dallas, and Houston with wheat-pasted posters of some of its most popular sellers in the area, including vintage hotspot Imperial Empire (aka @imperialxempire, which counts Travis Scott as a fan) and 20-year-old designer Troy (@parkavenueputa). The campaign highlights a bunch of local personalities, including LGBTQ+ activists, musicians, and general it-people, that are placing emphasis on important Gen Z issues like sustainability in addition to offering the latest in vintage and original fashion.

Chinatown Market Launches Exclusive Capsule with ASOS

Chinatown Market, the viral LA-based streetwear brand, has released an exclusive capsule collection on ASOS. The 35-piece collection features new limited-edition prints and the label’s first womenswear items. Some of the highlights include all-over print hoodies and matching pant sets, a mixed animal print baseball cap and basketball, a smiley face umbrella, and vintage-inspired graphic tees in the brand’s signature friendly retro style. For a brand that only started in 2016 and quickly blew up due to its highly engaging social media presence, partnering with one of the world’s biggest e-tailers is definitely something to smile about.

The Chinatown Market x ASOS collection launches online later this week.

Totokaelo Archive Introduces Menswear

The New York-based fashion retailer Totokaelo has launched its first official menswear line. While the company has carried menswear in its stores for a while now, this marks the first time the designer has developed its own men’s line from its in-house design team. Following the official launch earlier today, the brand plans to release 3 collections a year.

The inaugural collection is inspired by archival hits from seminal minimalist and avant-garde designers — the limited range of monochromatic pieces has strong ’90s influences that evoke the likes of Helmut Lang, Comme des Garcons, and Raf Simons. Some highlights include a black sheer voile button down, a pleated kilt, and contrast stitching button downs. Basically, seasonless clothing that will probably be seen on gallery assistants in Chelsea all summer long (read: understated yet powerful). It’s a promising first collection that references the past while looking to the future.

Totokaelo Archive Men is available online now. Check out some of the looks below.

Grailed & Polo Sport to Open Invite-Only Pop-Up

Grailed, the one-stop-resell-shop for coveted streetwear and vintage finds, is teaming up with Polo Sport on an invite-only pop-up later this month. The temporary retail shop will give new and longtime fans an IRL opportunity to snag some of the American label’s most iconic pieces ahead of the launch its Limited Edition Polo Sport Denim & Silver line, which debuts May 30.

“So much of where fashion is at today draws clear inspiration from the groundbreaking sportswear-meets-fashion narrative pioneered by Polo Sport,” Grailed co-founder Lawrence Schlossman told Complex.

Grailed has pioneered the men’s resale market since launching in 2014, expanding into a global menswear platform and partnering with some of the biggest and freshest voices in contemporary fashion. Yet despite being billed as a chance to give fans the opportunity to shop the website’s extensive archives, the event will be strictly invite-only. If you want to try your hand at winning 2 golden tickets, download the POLO app today. Good luck out there.

Volley—Australia’s go-to shoe brand for tennis pro’s down under—has landed closer to home with its recent U.S. site launch. Volley’s offerings combine the necessary grip and support of a sports shoe with a stylish and sleek versatility, making them equally as stylish both on and off the court. The high and low top options, as well as the neutral color palette—which ranges from classic black, white and navy, to burgundy and cognac—has gained the 75-year-old original tennis shoe label some street cred with rockstars, models, and anyone else in the trendy shoe crowd. If scoring the Aussie-born footwear online doesn’t sound appealing, Volley’s affordable Fall collection is also available at Nordstrom, and Urban Outfitters. We, unfortunately, can’t promise they will improve your tennis skills.
