Miuccia Prada turned out a collection of vibrant, sporty T-shirts and jackets (even topped by headbands) in a sophisticated and carefree homage to eccentric, 60’s, jet set life. Consider us inspired.

Burberry swung in quite the opposite direction from their dark and mysterious 2o12 Winter collection with their Spring/Summer 2013 menswear show in Milan. Bursting with shiny metallic colors (from green to blue to pink to orange to fuchsia), the bombers, field jackets and tailored tuxedos exuded joy de vivre at every turn.

Mario Boglioli must have felt a little pressure at his most recent show. Sure, he presented to the press his Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection in a converted factory space featuring his signature unconstructed jackets, garment dyed suiting and casual, tailored staples. The clothing was fab enough but then, the event featured food and drink prepared by legendary figures of classic Italian menswear, including Nino Cerruti (owner of Cerruti 1884), Luciano Barbera (of Luciano Barbera), and Mario Boglioli himself. We are impressed!
