Photographer Tim Barber greets his blue period alongside Saturdays NYC with the release of a new t-shirt capsule collection. Featuring two short sleeves and two long, the line pulls from the artist’s “New Blue” series with four exclusives cyanotype prints. After a happenstance meeting in a Japanese hotel, the creatives developed the dejectedly punk pieces to highlight both the SoHo-born brand’s laid-back aesthetic and the artist’s own dynamic perspective. A zine, poster, and art show, showing exclusively in the label’s Crosby Street locale, launch alongside the line, proving itself to be a deceivingly simple look at disenchanted youth, upheld by Barber’s dreamy palette.
