Sacai x Nike Launch Classic Pieces in New Colors
Sacai first collaborated with Nike on a psychedelic sneaker a few years back. Now the brands are expanding with a variety of new color-ways in both their LDWaffle and the Blazer Mid shoes with a monochrome makeover and the addition of white and black versions. The Blazer Mid is easily recognizable for its double lace and a double tongue; the LDWaffle offers a signature heel accent that mimics a double sole. The LDWaffle has already produced a furor when debuted on the Spring/Summer 2019 runway and is expected to be one of the hottest sneaker releases of the year. Both sneakers and new apparel were launched in a campaign modeled by tennis player Naomi Osaka and skateboarder Sky Brown.
Both sneakers are projected to be available sometime in September.
