Which would you buy? A Rick Owens hiking boot is peculiar and out of place—still, even after we’ve had all season to consider his “preppy” collection. Yet, they’re intriguing and we love that they give us the opportunity to wear Owens creatively. Like, you could almost put this alongside some Gant or Michael Bastian or Billy Reid . His new sneaker, on the other hand, is completely expected and utterly beautiful, classic, Rick Owens neo-gothic style. Somewhat predictable, which is a good thing when you’re name is Rick Owens, this outfit is already mapped out. Anyway, we’re confused. Which would you pick?
