Paul Smith, the famous English designer, brings ethical awareness to his eponymous brand through a different venture: a series of artistic prints that highlight an array of pencils. Releasing in tandem with an exhibition in London, the prints depict the way in which famous creators and minds use and abuse their pencils to create masterpieces. An auction for the original works is poised to support the charity Children in Crisis, which gives children in some of the poorest countries in the world a better and thorough education. The prints, available only as a limited edition and in five different designs, are meant to raise awareness for children who suffer the devastating effects of conflict and civil war.
