MOODS OF NORWAY'S SUNNY SIDE OF THE TUXEDO
That a brand like Moods of Norway has its American Flagship store in Beverly Hills, yet is headquartered in a Scandinavian village that boasts a population of under 7000 people is a testament that the, uh, mood of this label is one of optimism. Their cheerful point of view, which already spans the range from underwear to knitwear to suiting is now taking on the realm of the tuxedo. Made from a “super duper” (their words) fabrication of 100% wool, Moods of Norway’s tuxedos are lined in pink and come with a small gold tractor pin on the left pocket. Going forward, they’ll keep working on the classic black tux style but you can expect upbeat colors like purple and green to appear in the near future. Good.
