Still Hooked: Miansai Watches Are Here
Miansai by Michael Saiger is no stranger to hooks. Literally—who can forget their near prolific hook on a rope bracelets from the past few seaons? They make stuff guys who don’t even care about accessories want to start putting things around their wrists. So we’re looking forward to the brand’s first foray into the world of watches which has just officially launched. Details after the jump.
A year and a half in the making, Saiger and his team decided to start off Miansai watches with 3 styles—M1 (Perpetual), M2 (Chronograph) and M3 (Automatic). The mechanics are all top quality—Swiss Sapphire and Stainless Steel with Japanese automatic movement or Chrono Quartz. But let’s be honest. You’re not wearing a watch in 2013 to tell the time, (thank-you iPhone); you’re going to be wearing these watches because they’ll match your preppy wardrobe just as well as Miansai’s bracelets. There’s French calf and Italian leathers that’ll be a nice touch to your professional garb, and, we’re glad— a play on Mainsai’s signature rope for those relaxed summer weekends.
The watches are available at Barney’s Co-op or online at miansai.com
