Juice WRLD Has Died at 21
Juice WRLD, the rapper behind hits like “Lucid Dreams,” passed away earlier this morning after suffering a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport. He was 21 years old.
Born Jarad Higgins in Chicago, Juice WRLD released a string of worldwide hits and chart-topping albums and worked with artists like Future. In October, he spoke to Essential Homme ahead of his Beat of My City tour in support of 100 Black Men of Chicago, a non-profit that highlights positive role models for young African American men. “If you have the opportunity to give back, you absolutely should. That’s what I was taught,” he said. “I genuinely wanna see other people succeed, and change the world, and lives, for the better.”
