Comme des Garçons Suprise Drops Air Jordan 1 Sneaker
During its Fall/Winter 2019 show, Comme des Garçons debuted a new edgy shoe collaboration with Air Jordan 1. While the Japanese brand has previously done sneaker collabs with Converse, Vans, and Nike, this is the first time it’s worked with Jordan. The monochromatic sneakers featured a studded leather strap replete silver hoops and other embellishments that added a dose of gothic S&M spice to the classic shoe style. An instant standout from the presentation, fans were left in the dark as to when the shoes would be available in the US. Over the weekend, these prayers were answered as Hypebeast reports the shoes were quietly released in Dover Street Market New York and the designer’s flagship store. A wide release is expected to follow shortly.
