Cole Haan + Fragment Design: The Latest LunarGrand
Here’s where your next pair of power-breakfast-lunch-dinner-and-cocktail shoes will come from! LunarGrand, you’ll remember is the dressier affair-friendly shoe that’s got the, er, soul of a sneaker. Literally, it’s Nike’s creation—called Lunarlon and is an ultra-lightweight cushioning system that might almost feel as if you were walking on moonbeams. Or at least space clouds made of dreams. Anyway, the third installment of the collaboration between Cole Haan and Fragment is currently making its way towards stores in two different forms. First up is a Long Wing Brogue—the wing extends around the body of the shoe—in black grain leather with grey midsole, white grain leather with white midsole and blue suede with a black midsole. The other is a gorgeous suede, moccasin-seamed slip on loafer they’re calling the Venetian Bit. The tan comes with a gold bit and the navy with silver. Those of you near Dover Street Market in the Ginza (Hollah Japan!) can snag them first, this Friday, January 25th. The rest of us will have to wait until Wednesday, February 6th.
