Food and fashion aren’t the most obvious paring—think of all the stains and smells to be had—but Club Monaco builds and masters that the bridge today, as the first brand to create a retail concept store inside Noma, located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the number one restaurant in the world as ranked by Restaurant Magazine.

From now until March 14, 2015, Club Monaco will inhabit the Danish restaurant, turning Noma into its very own innovative boutique, while highlighting the best of the brand’s apparel, accessories, vintage and home pieces, books, coffee, and wine. Also featured will be a curated assortment of Club Monaco’s Markers & Muse partners. The brand’s Creative Director (and SVP of Women’s Designs) Caroline Belhumeur sees the Nordic cuisine-inspired restaurant as “the perfect setting to bring a slice of the New York experience into Copenhagen.” She adds, “We found interesting ingredients, perfect collaborators, and gathered this all together to share at an amazing space like Noma.”

For its construction, the pop-up boutique utilizes woven art installations made in Brooklyn, woodwork and rare books from Manhattan, and vintage pieces from Paris and Morocco. Peter Kreiner, managing director of the restaurant, explains, “At Noma, we believe in developing deep and trusting relationships with our suppliers, seeking out those that provide the most incredible quality, even if only in small supply. We have seen in some ways, a similar approach taken by Club Monaco.”
