I agree with the opinion the blanco. Very smooth finish. Slight pepper nose and slightly sweet. Little to no burn. Comparable in taste to Avion but I think slightly better then Avion. I would tend to think Avion is over distilled and removes too much flavor. I would guess Clase Azul is distilled one fewer times. The reposado in my opinion had a sugary, buttery nose with a hint of melon (cucumber or watermelon). The taste was sugar cookies, very sweet but not to sweet like Los Azulos or Casa Miastri. The finish was slightly sweet, earthy with some “paper” (not pepper) notes. Yes paper, cardboard to be specific. Despite the slight off finish the tequila was certainly a top shelf tequila. At about $80 a bottle, I do think the price point is right. This is an excellent Reposado at $60 a bottle.
