Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, & Margot Robbie Take Down Fox News in ‘Bombshell’ Trailer
The same month that former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes died, it was announced that production had begun on a film about the allegations of sexual harassment made against him. And now it’s here. Starring three powerful blondes, Academy Award-winners Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman and nominee Margot Robbie, Bombshell chronicles how female employees of the network rally against Ailes following years of misconduct. Based on a screenplay by Charles Randolph, who won the Academy Award for The Big Short in 2015, and directed by Jay Roach (he did Austin Powers!), the film looks like a whip-smart post-#MeToo commentary on the toxic work culture that permeates the propaganda mill that is Fox.
