Calvin Klein Makes Us Flash Forward
Spring may have been unleashed with unusual force this year (from blooming trees to bountiful collection launches) but Fall 2012 is what’s really bubbling underneath the surface. Today, Calvin Klein presented its Fall 2012 men’s and women’s sportswear, tailored clothing, denim, performance outerwear, underwear, footwear and accessories collections, making us smitten in the thought that once the weather begins to taper off, at least we’ll have something good to wear. For us men, Calvin Klein offered up the new “Liquid Metal” denim, which you’ll notice sports a very cool and unusual leather coating adding 3D texture. A tailored but relaxed look reigned supreme in the apparel division, with a beautiful asymmetrical top coat on top of a graphic tweed wool sweater paired with slouchy knit cargo pants. Calvin Klein Performance will offer up a strong assortment of sharp looking athletic apparel, heavy on the functionality. Calvin Klein ups its fan fave collection of trunks and boxer briefs with Calvin Klein Modern Classic, featuring the brand’s favorite iconic styles with brand new microfibers. New this season will be Calvin Klein Bold X-ray, a limited edition assortment of underwear printed with electromagnetic scans.
With all this Fall 2012 news, its easy to forget that Spring is but a few days old!
