After proving their clout in ESSENTIAL HOMME December 2016/January 2017‘s Dylan Blue feature, Versace and photographer Bruce Weber get back into the arena with a new Spring/Summer 2017 campaign. Shot in the Kentucky countryside, the images are a far cry from the Greek-god-meets-powerlifting aesthetic of past collaborations, choosing instead to feature a subtle bond between man and animal—a manifestation of freedom as seen through the eyes of Donatella herself. Hoping those outfitted in the collection will feel the same dramatic sense of self, Weber balances a natural grace with the pulsing energy of the Wild West.
