Brooks Brothers’ Legacy Honored at Pitti Immagine 2018
A highlight of the menswear conference in Florence, legacy brand Brooks Brothers was commemorated at Pitti Immagine 2018 for its 200th anniversary. The American label’s extensive career and influence on the fashion landscape was celebrated with a retrospective exhibition as well as the designer’s first ever runway show at the conference, soundtracked by the Italian Symphony Orchestra. 53 models showcased some of the brand’s seminal looks, including its signature suiting and casual wear which helped lay the foundation for future athleisure, in a memorable display that reflected the disruptive and dandy impact of the label on the industry.
