Call him kooky or call him creative, but there is neither confusion nor misunderstanding of Andrea Pompilio’s mastery for creating clothes that push the cuffs of what contemporary menswear means. Perhaps this is why it comes as no surprise today that Canali—the Italian house that recruited Pompilio last season to design a capsule collection—has recently appointed Pompilio as designer of the brand entirely. Now in charge of Canali’s whole collection across all categories, we can’t wait to see what Pompilio presents for Autumn/Winter 2015 this Monday on the runway.
