Way back in 1970, it wasn’t only the ties that were getting bigger. Nikon shocked the world with its 220 degree fisheye Nikkor lens that produced images as bold as the bombastic lens itself. As you can imagine, not many were made and one of the last remaining just sold at auction for £100,000 by the esteemed Grays of Westminster, specialists in everything Nikon. Even if you’re an iPhone photo junkie and need nothing fancy, you have to marvel at the magnitude of this photographic masterpiece. Want one? Good luck. You’ll have to track down the private buyer and strike a deal.
