Retail pricing will range from $188 to $198 for each pair. The collaboration features loose fitting, straight leg jeans in subtle greys, blacks and indigos (based on AG’s “Protégé” style) and boasts special hangtags that include branded golf tees and ball markers. More or less, wear these when you need to fuse the functionality needed to keep your game on point (and win) and then go out to celebrate afterwards. Check them out here.

BACK TO SCHOOL: GANT BY MICHAEL BASTIAN FALL 2012 CAMPAIGN

Back to school isn’t just some catchphrase for Michael Bastian. We’ve already seen now the designer infused it—specifically Bastian’s own experience going to college in Boston— into every fiber of his Fall 2012 collection for Gant. Now, the Gant by Michael Bastian Fall 2012 campaign has dropped giving us even more of a window in to Bastian’s 1980′s preppy-mod school days. The campaign was shot in and around Boston and recreates the feeling and memories of Bastian’s own personal experience as a student attending Babson College. The collection and campaign tell the story of three friends: The Prep; The Mod girl; and The Boxer boyfriend. The trio is inspired by friendships Bastian actually had during his time at school as a shy college guy (Michael) met his new friends and they quickly became inseparable. Probably, the same thing’ll happen between you and any number of looks from this collection. First delivery can be found here.

Well, maybe. That’s up to you, but the right guy could very well pull off a formal bow-tie look just by wearing Vivienne Westwood’s take on the classic popline shirt for Fall 2012. Or go renegade. Pair it with some loose-fit jeans and tuxedo shoes. Button opened, of course. Shop the garment here!
BEDWIN AND THE HEARTBREAKERS FALL 2012

We’re gonna go ahead and just say it. Put Carhartt and Cowboy Bepop together, and you fall somewhere close to the Fall 2012 Bedwin and the Heartbreakers Collection. That is to say, the pieces are rooted in slightly utilitarian, classic American pieces but are juiced up with the quirky sensibility of the Japanese design scene. The baseball jacket’s got some pretty bright electric blue sleeves and the baggy fit on the suit is of utmost Bepop style. There’s maybe a bit of a disconnect between the campaign they’re calling “I’ll be your mirror” (black and white) and the style shots (color) but either way, they’re both pretty inspirational.
WE LOVE: BERNHARD WILLHELM + CAMPER FALL 2012

Bernhard WillheLm builds upon his 7 seasons in collaboration with Camper shoes for Fall 2012. Willhem (who, quickly in case you’re not familiar, got his start with Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood and has worked closely with Bjork) transposed his quirky designs on both his collection and the Camper sneakers at his show in paris that featured models dressed as writhing zombies. The sneaks mix architectural structures with an orchestra of color and offer up styles that go from flamboyant to euphemistic without loosing a common voice. That the Camper collaboration manages to stand out means that they can be worn as focus pieces for more quiet looks (simple pants, simple shirt) or incorporated into much more busy looks without being swallowed whole. But really, it means this is a collection that’ll be adored.
